Refund policy
Refunds, Reprints & Other Fun Stuff
At Press Bros, we back our film, inks and print process like a proud nonna backs her lasagne. That said, we’re still human (moustaches and all), and there are a lot of moving parts in artwork prep, printing and QC. Very occasionally, something slips past us.
When that happens, we treat it like a five-alarm emergency and sort it as fast as humanly possible. Here’s how it all works if you’re not happy with a print or you’ve hit an issue.
What can you return?
You can return damaged or defective prints.
“Defective” means the problem is on our end, not your file’s. Examples include:
-
Glue not adhering properly
-
Bits of your design missing
-
Missing or patchy white underbase
If we’ve stuffed it – we’ll own it.
What can’t you return?
1. Anything after 14 days
You’ve got 14 days from receiving your order to let us know there’s an issue.
After that, we don’t know how the film’s been stored, pressed, or partied with, so we can’t accept returns.
2. Poor quality due to bad artwork
We print what you upload. If the file is low res, blurry, jagged, or otherwise not press-ready, the print will look the same. That’s not a defect – that’s just honesty.
-
We may reach out if we spot a disaster file and have time, but we can’t promise it.
-
If you’re unsure whether your artwork is up to scratch, please check with us before ordering.
If a low-quality file produces a low-quality print, we can’t refund or reprint.
3. Shipping delays
Once your order leaves HQ, it’s in the hands of the freight gods.
If a carrier delays your parcel, loses it for a bit, or takes the scenic route:
-
We can’t refund due to shipping delays.
-
We’ll absolutely help chase it up, but we can’t control their timelines.
4. Tricky artwork: shadows, soft gradients, etc.
Certain effects (shadows, very soft gradients, weird glows) don’t always play nicely with DTF. We’re super clear about this in our tips & tricks.
If your artwork includes these and the print doesn’t look how you imagined, that’s not considered a defect.
5. Colour expectations & special effects
We print in CMYK. That means:
-
We don’t colour-match to Pantone or screens.
-
Colours may vary between jobs, screens and devices.
-
We can’t print metallic, fluro, neon or hypercolour.
If colour is critical, we strongly recommend ordering a small test/sampler first before going big.
If you can’t print it on a standard CMYK printer at home, we probably can’t print it either.
